Swami Vivekananda said, from whatever perspective you look at any Lord Sri Krishna, you will find Sri Krishna's character to be all-encompassing. He is the very embodiment of Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Jnana Yoga. He is a unique synthesis of a renunciate and a householder. Great power and energy were developed in Him, and at the same time, He lived a life of extreme renunciation. The outline for this biography of Sri Krishna, written for children, has been based on the English book 'Sri Krishna Vol.1 (Pictorial)' published by Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, and the major part of the book is a translation of this English book. We are grateful to Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, for granting permission to translate the book and use the beautiful pictures from the English book.
