The Story of Sarada Devi

It gives us pleasure to place this long-awaited book in the hands of the devotees and followers of Sri Ramakrishna. *The Story of Sarada Devi* is a companion book to *The Story of Ramakrishna* and *The Story of Vivekananda*. Great care has been taken to present this life in simple English. The author of this book, Swami Smaranananda, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha, Belur Math, had earlier written *The Story of Ramakrishna*. That book had won the second prize from the Government of India in the Nineteenth National Awards for Excellence in Printing and Designing Children's Books. Sri Biswaranjan Chakravarty, who illustrated that book attractively and imaginatively, has done the same for this book. We are very grateful to both the author.
